Jaya Prada is an Indian Actress and Politician. She appears in the Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi Film industries. She established herself as the most popular and commercially successful actress. She is a member of Rashtriya Lok Dal, Uttar Pradesh, and previously was a member of the Telugu Desam Party. She began her acting career in 1974 with the Telugu film Bhoomi Kosam. Jaya Prada is best known for her work in films, including Anthuleni Katha, Sargam, Sharaabi, Sanjog, Siri Siri Muvva, Anthuleni Katha, Saagara Sangamam, Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna, and Pranayam. She has received many awards including Filmfare Awards, Nandi Awards, and more.
Jaya Prada was born on 3 April 1962 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. She is the daughter of Krishna Rao and Neelaveni. She completed 12th standard and was then admitted to Rajlakshmi Women’s College from where she dropped out in the first year. Jaya Prada is married to film producer, Shrikant Nahata and she has a stepson Siddu.
