Nitish Kumar is an Indian Politician and the present Chief Minister (CM) of Bihar State since 2017. He established himself as the most popular and successful Indian Politician. He previously served as a minister of the Union Government of India. Nitish Kumar is a former member of Janat Dal (United). He completed his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Bihar College of Engineering, Patna. In 1971, he became a Ram Manohar Lohiya’s young wing member and joined the JP movement in 1974.
He became a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1985. Then he was appointed as Secretary-General of the Janta Dal of Bihar and elected as a Member of Parliament for the first time in 1989. Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 2nd time & the 3rd time chief minister in 2005 & 2010. He recorded 6th-time Chief Minister with BJP’s support in 2017.
Nitish Kumar was born on 1 March 1951 in Bakhtiarpur, Bihar, India. He is the son of Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh and Parmeshwari Devi. He had married Manju Kumari Sinha, died and they have one child; his son’s name is Nishant Kumar.
