Suresh Prabhu is an Indian Politician. He served as the Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation under the Modi Government. Suresh Prabhu established himself as the most popular and successful Indian Politician. Suresh Prabhu started his political career in 1996 and he served as a Member of Parliament from Rajapur Constituency as a member of Shiv Sena. Then he served as the Industry Minister, Minister of Environment and Forests, Minister of Fertilizers and Chemicals, Power, and Heavy Industry. Suresh Prabhu was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha from Haryana in November 2014 and he was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh in June 2016.
Suresh Prabhu was born on 11 July 1953 in Bombay, Bombay State, India. He is the son of Prabhakar Prabhu but his mother’s name is unknown. He completed a B.Sc Hons. in Commerce and Chartered Accountant M.L. Dahanukar College, Vile Parle, Mumbai. Suresh Prabhu was married to Uma Prabhu in 1984 and they have one child; the son’s name is Ameya Prabhu.
