Sripriya is an Indian Actress. She appears in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi Movies. Sripriya established herself as the most popular and commercially successful Indian actress. Sripriya has acted in over 300 Films in different languages, among them 200 films are Tamil films. She began her acting career in 1974 with the film ‘Murugan Kaatiya Vazhi’. In 1978, she played a role in the film ‘Aval Appadithan’, for which she received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize.
Besides acting, she directed many films, including Drushyam, Naane Varuveen, Malini 22 Palayamkottai, etc. Sripriya was born on 5 March 1956 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She went to the Church Park Convent School. She is a trained classical dancer and belongs to a professional music family. Sripriya got married to actor Rajkumar Sethupathy in 1988 and they have two children, a daughter Sneha, and a son Nagarjun.
