Mitali Mayekar belongs to Mumbai. She studied at Vidyamandir in Dada and then Ruia College in Matunga for her education. She has trained many other actors and actresses, provided her with training while in school. Mitali Mayekar began her acting career as a child artist for actor Irrfan Khan‘s starred Bollywood film ‘Billu’, where she played role of Irrfan Khan’s and Lara Dutta‘s daughter character.

She played few minor roles in Marathi TV series, including Asambhav, (Role as Sunial Barve’s daughter’, Bhagyalakshmi, Unche Majha Zoka and Tu Majha Sangati. Mitali Mayekar has acted and participated in many of ekankika and natak competition and earned several Purshottam Karandak Awards.
