He is a very famous Indian Person, who received the Padma Shri in 1999, Padma Bhushan in 2007, the Sahitya Akademi Award, and the five National Film Awards. Javed Akhtar has worked on many Films and Songs. Javed Akhtar was born on 17 January 1945 in Gwalior, Gwalior State, British, India. He is the son of Jan Nisar Akhtar and Safia Akhtar. He has two brothers Salman Akhtar, and Sahid Akhtar, and two sisters Uneza Akhtar and Albina. Javed Akhtar got married to Honey Irani but divorced and then he got married to actress Shabana Azmi in 1984. He has one son named Farhan Akhtar from his first wife and one daughter named Zoya Akhtar from his first wife.
