Rakhee Gulzar is an Indian Actress. She was born on 15 August 1947 in Ranaghat, West Bengal, India. She mainly appeared in Bollywood and Bengali Film industries. Rakhee Gulzar started her acting in 1967 with the film ‘Badhu Bharan’. She is best known for her work in films, including Soldier, Border, Karan Arjun, Anari, Saaheb, Shakti, Baseraa, Jrmana, Trishna, Doosra Aadmi, Kabhie Kabhie, Aankhon Aankhon Mein, Daag: A Poem of Love, 27 Down, Paroma, etc. She has received fifteen Filmfare Awards and two National Film Awards. Rakhee Gulzar was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2003.
Rakhee Gulzar was born in Ranaghat, Nadia District, West Bengal and she belongs to a Hindu family. She is a high school graduate. Rakhee Gulzar got married to Ajay Biswas in 1963 and divorced in 1965 then he married Gulzar in 1973. She has a daughter Meghna Gulzar.
