Ram Nath Kovind is an Indian Politician and a former member of the Bharatiya Janata Party which is the short form of BJP. He established himself as the most popular and successful Indian Politician. He is currently serving as the 14th President of India since July 2017. He previously served as the Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017 and was a member of parliament Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006.
Ram Nath Kovind studied at Kanpur University, Kanpur to complete a Bachelor of Commerce and LL.B. He started his political career by joining BJP. In 1994 he was elected as Rajya Sabha MP from Uttar Pradesh and then he was re-elected as MP of Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. In 2015 he was appointed as the governor of Bihar by the President of India and in July 2017, he took the oath as the 14th President of India.
Ram Nath Kovind was born on 14 October 1945 in Paraunkh, United Provinces, British, India. He is the son of Maiku Lak and Kalawati. He has four brothers and three sisters. Ram Nath Kovind married Savita Kovind in May 1974 and they have two children; Prashant Kumar and Swati. He belongs to a Hindu family and His Zodiac Sign is Libra.
